The area is well-known for having Chile\u2019s best soils and climate for producing world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.<\/p>\n<p>Another organic wine that shone on this year\u2019s list was Coyam 2021 from Colchagua, which obtained 95 points. This blend, which will soon celebrate its 20th vintage, was acclaimed for its \u201c<strong><em>wonderful mix of fine spices, black pepper, pineapple and tobacco, along with fruits like blackberries and cherries.<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This wine, of medium to full body, impressed for its tannic texture, described as \u201c<strong><em>very fine grained and creamy<\/em><\/strong>\u201d, and the harmonious integration of its juicy fruits.<\/p>\n<p>For Noelia Orts, the winemaker of the vineyard, these results are very good: \u201c<strong><em>They speak of an Emiliana much more focused on premium wines, with an agricultural and winemaking work that is producing very good results. They position Emiliana not just as a great vineyard of organic volume wines, but they point out its capacity to generate high quality products which are recognized world-wide.<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The process of selecting the <strong>Top 100 Wines of the World 2023<\/strong> was especially competitive this year, with more than 39,000 wines evaluated by a team of seven editors of the James Suckling Wine Tasting.
