Outstanding scores for Viñedos Orgánicos Emiliana in the 2026 Vinous Report

Viñedos Orgánicos Emiliana once again consolidates its leadership in the production of high-end wines by receiving outstanding scores in the latest report on Chile published by the prestigious international platform Vinous. The report, prepared by leading critic Joaquín Hidalgo after tasting the wines in Chile in April 2026, awarded high scores to the exclusive Gê, Coyam, 57 Rocas, and Maycas del Limarí lines.

In his July 2026 report, Joaquín Hidalgo highlighted the 2024 vintage as the most convincing and exciting among the last three harvests evaluated in Chile. According to the critic, the 2024 cycle was the coolest, starting with a very cold spring that delayed ripening, allowing the grapes to be protected when summer temperatures arrived. The overall result of this season was balanced, energetic wines with rounded maturity.

The Award-Winning Wines

The agricultural and winemaking work of the world’s largest organic winery was rewarded with excellent reviews for its premium wines, highlighting the precision and expression of their respective origins.

• 97 points – 2022 Gê: The winery’s iconic organic and biodynamic blend was crowned with Emiliana’s highest score in this report, consolidating its status as one of the great global benchmarks in luxury sustainable viticulture. It exhibits an imposing and finely polished structure, with silky tannins and a long, vibrant finish that reflects the purity of its origin, consolidating its status as a major global benchmark.

• 95 points – 2023 Coyam: The flagship red blend achieved an outstanding score, reaffirming its position in the international market as an undisputed classic of high-end organic wine in Chile. On the palate it is juicy, with excellent volume, round tannins, and a freshness that gives it a long, elegant persistence.

• 94 points – 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon 57 Rocas: Coming from the Maipo Valley, this red demonstrated the great quality and consistency of the 57 Rocas line. On the nose it displays intense aromas of black fruits such as cassis and plum, interwoven with subtle spicy notes and an elegant touch of native forest. On the palate it stands out for its imposing structure, with firm yet finely silky tannins, offering a long, deep, and persistent finish.

• 93 points – 2024 Carmenere 57 Rocas: Sourced from the Fundo Los Robles vineyard in Colchagua, this wine was aged in oak barrels and concrete eggs. It presents dark aromatics of blackberry and soft bell pepper alongside a gentle floral note. It is juicy, with flavor intensity and a finish marked by a pyrazine-driven green pepper note.

• 93 points – 2024 Chardonnay Maycas del Limarí: Originating from Ovalle in the Limarí Valley, this white opens with notes of green apple and pear, being instantly intense. On the palate it is fresh and focused, with a chalky texture and a medium-bodied profile that finishes with fruity notes, standing out as a great exponent of a challenging year with low yields.

• 92 points – 2024 Pinot Noir Maycas del Limarí: Also from the Ovalle area in Limarí, this red shows a clear red fruit profile on the nose, with notes of strawberry, soft oak, and a faint savory/sanguine note. Its taste is smooth, slightly chalky, bringing freshness and flavor, ending with a subtle fruity note.
