Scholarship and Training Programs
Emiliana has a well-defined program of scholarships for technical education to provide its employees real opportunities for professional development. The company offers 4 university scholarships that include full payment of registration and tuition, as well as 12 technical scholarships for the children of employees who wish to continue their studies.
The company also has annual training programs in the organic and biodynamic agricultural management used in our estates. It also offers training in creating intensive organic vegetable gardens on the Emiliana property whose produce goes to the employees for family consumption. In 2009, 138 agricultural employees were trained in organic apiculture, organic olive groves, raising native chickens, and growing medicinal herbs.
Finally, the government sponsored SENCE program makes it possible for estate managers and administrators to study English.
