Emiliana has international certifications to accredit our commitment to sustainable production, respecting the environment, our workers, and the community.
Certifications
Carbon Neutral Certified
The German TÜV SUD certifies the neutralization of carbon (CO2) emissions at our Los Robles estate in the entirety of the production process in the vineyard and cellars as well as in the later transportation of the finished wines.
Social Responsibility Certification
The Swiss “IMO for Life” certification recognizes Emiliana’s practices of Social Responsibility and guarantees good conditions for our workers and considers it a fair and transparent organization that respects the environment.
Biodynamic Certification
Emiliana was the first—and to date the only—winery in Chile to obtain biodynamic certification from DEMETER (Germany). Biodynamics is a system of agricultural production that views the soil as a living being in which the visible and invisible forces of nature interact to create healthy ecosystems.
ISO 14001 Certification
In 2001 Emiliana was the first Chilean winery to voluntarily adopt the international standards of environmental care and protection and became pioneers in Chile in obtaining ISO 14,000 certification.
Organic Certification
Emiliana has been internationally recognized as an organic vitivinicultural producer by the Swiss certification organization IMO (Institute for Marketecology). This recognizes that our grapes have been grown without the use of fertilizers or other chemical products
