Emilio Contreras
Winemaker
Emilio received his degree in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Enology from the University of Chile. While still a student he worked as an assistant winemaker at Viña Valdivieso and Casa Lapostolle, and he did his professional internship at Concha y Toro in Puente Alto. He then worked as a winemaker at Viña Terramater as well as in other wineries in the United States and Australia.
He joined Emiliana’s team of winemakers in 2007 and is currently in charge of the red varietals for the Novas and Adobe organic lines as well as the red varietal and reserve lines produced with integrated management methodologies.
