César Morales Navia
Enological Manager
César graduated from the University of Chile with a degree in Agricultural Engineering and a specialization in Enology. He began participating in crush seasons early on and also specialized in Viticulture. He graduated in 2001 with the maximum distinction. He joined Emiliana that same year as the winemaker in charge of the primary red wine facility and has helped lead the way for the new Emiliana. In 2002 he spent time in South African wineries in Stellenbosh and Constantia. In 2003 he toured Bordeaux and in 2004, Tuscany and Castello Banfi.
Today César is Emiliana’s Enological Manager, where he coordinates and directs all of the vineyards, harvests, blending, and broad range of wines produced, and manages the technical team as well. He is in charge of the Varietal, Reserva, and Reserva Especial lines of conventional wines now under integrated management, as well as the organic lines Adobe and Novas.
