Decanter names Emiliana Novas one of the best value wines of the year

The prestigious British magazine gave Novas Limited Selection Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot 2007 four stars, which also placed it among its Top 100 wines of the year.

December 2010. The year-end edition of the prestigious British magazine Decanter reports that of the thousands of wines tasted in 2010, just 568 earned 4 or 5 stars. Those wines were reviewed to define their list of Top 100 wines with the best price-quality ratio, which includes Emiliana Novas Limited Selection Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot 2007, which ranked “Highly Recommended” with four out of five possible stars.

Novas Limited Selection Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot 2007 therefore not only belongs to the select group of wines that earned an outstanding score, but also occupies the 48th place in the world for its price-quality ratio.

This red blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot 38%, was described as “Confected black fruit, violets and smoke—rich, mouthfilling. Light tannins and fresh acidity.”
