Emiliana Vineyards awarded two distinguished medals in France
Novas Winemaker’s Selection Syrah 2007 and Emiliana Syrah Reserva Especial 2007 won Gold and Silver medals, respectively, at the Syrah du Monde competition.
Santiago, June 2010. Reflecting the high quality of its wines, Emiliana Vineyards’ Novas Winemaker’s Selection Syrah 2007 and Syrah Reserva Especial 2007 won Gold and Silver medals, respectively, at the fourth Syrah Du Monde competition, held recently in France.
More than 380 wines from 27 countries competed at the event, including several from Chile.
Emiliana’s Syrah draws attention with its deep ruby-red color, concentrated palate, great structure, and fine, elegant and velvety tannins, complemented by a well-rounded, smooth and persistent finish.
This most recent prize can be added to a long list of honors awarded to the winery’s products that have affirmed its position as the world’s top organic and biodynamic winery. At the previous Syrah Du Monde competition, Emiliana was awarded a gold medal for its Novas Winemaker’s Selection Syrah, and took third place overall among the world’s best Syrahs, the only top 10 from our country.
